Managing Regular School with Coaching

Many of the aspirants are not enrolled in dummy-schools. They generally face problems in time management and also they are not able to fully concentrate on JEE prep.

So, in this post I would discuss how you can efficiently manage your school with JEE. Here's what I did;

CASE 1 : If you in Class 11th.

Class 11th is generally on the lighter side. During 11th you can simply take as many leaves as possible from the school, to avoid imbalance in your JEE prep. But taking leaves means you must focus in your studies only and efficiently use this time for your prep. You should not completely ignore the school.
You must complete the project and file works on time ; give all the exams of school( JUST GIVE IT DON'T BOTHER ABOUT THE MARKS YOU ARE GETTING IN SCHOOL EXAMS").
In short you can appear twice or thrice per week in the school. That will do you class 11th.

CASE 2 : If you are in Class 12th.

In class 12th you can't simply boycott your school because this year you will have to give board exams.
Attending the school is imp this year because practical and board preparation are better provided by schools. What to do now...? Here's the solutions..

As you know/will know , Class 12th syllabus is started early in JEE coachings as soon as the 11th exams are over, so one or two weeks there will be no school. Now, upcoming points to be noted carefully.

I'm assuming that your school for 12th starts in first week of April. Then , from April to mid-May, you can take AS MUCH LEAVES AS POSSIBLE  and complete all your project works and file etc in the summer vacation itself ( its easily doable by devoting 2 hrs daily for 10 to 15 days). Now, from the date your school reopens till the day when one week is remaining for your half yearly exam or other major exam of your school, attend the school 2 - 3 days per week.

Attend the school the full week before just before your half yearly ( because in this week generally revisions are going on in the schools for half yearly exams) ; this will ensure that will come know all imp ques to be asked in half yearly exam and eventually in BOARD exam. [ you must give all the exams of the school and keel the ques papers safely]

After half yearly exam can increase your school days to 3-4 days a week until your syllabus in school is completed. After the syllabus in school is completed your can shift to 2-3 days format. Again when preboard approaches, Your have to do the same as you did for half yearly exams.

When the syllabus in coaching is also completed you can attend the school regularly until your JEE is near.

This was the way I followed according to my school conditions. There can be some changes in your case. But my overall idea is that , your must be aware of whats happening in your school, give all exams of school to get to know the pattern and answer writing method of board exams.

Hope it helps :)
