Beyond JEE !!

Today's post is not quite directly related to JEE preparation. It's basically realated to what you are going to experience after getting into a decent college, may it be IIT or NIT.

I would keep myself at the centre of the theme. 

First thing you will experience is home sickness, if you not a typical KOTA student. Thereafter, you will meet your roommates, and chances are high that they will annoy you as you don't have the habit of adjusting with others. Soon you will become more and familiar with them and enjoy their company. Most interesting would be building a small family inside your room and many times you will feel so. In my case, parents of my roommates often talk to me, as if I am also their son. A few days will past like this.

Soon, there will a power cut in the hostel at night, and your hostel will become a stage to express you inner feeling in the shade of darkness. By this time you will be in full confidence like: 

"SALA APUN ICH BHAGWAN HAI!!"

This will end as soon as you will be called for the first briefing by the Seniors. 

Furthermore, your classes will start. As usual you will wake up early and reach the class to take first seat as in JEE coaching. But this tendency will transform into - not bathing for upto weeks, skipping the breakfast in mess, and, reaching the classes 5 mins late and occupying the last seats.[MOST OF THE CROWD DO THIS]. You will not feel like studying in this duration. Soon you will realise that 2 months have passed and you have yet not opened your notes even once. But as the world knows- You will study for entire nights for the mid-sem exams. With hidden surprizes [which you will know by your own]  you will end your mid-sems.

After this, various events of your college will start. Eventhough you will have wounds of mid-sem, you will whole heartedly participate in those events. Soon marks of mid-sems will be shown which will lead you to believe in : "Expect the unexpected". 

Having performed quite below expectation you will decide to start studying earlier for end-sem, but soon you will be again caught into the old VICIOUS-CYCLE.

This is how you will end your FIRST-SEM.

LAB RECORD BANANE KA MAN NAHI KARTA YAR !!!

 I know this topic is not quite related to JEE, but you will know something new if you read further. All of us pretty know how boring its to make lab records in our 10+2. But have you ever wondered why school forces us to maintain a lab record?.  Added to this we are supposed to avoid overwriting and maintain neatness in the record. I think schools never bother to tell this or they themselves might not be aware why are they giving this task to the students. Recently class started at MNNIT and we were having our physics practical class. So, as usual prof was telling about, we have to maintain the lab record. But surprisingly he also told us why the institute forces us to maintain lab records and gives marks on this. He explained that all this is to inculcate professionalism in us, as within 4 to 5 years we would doing jobs or will be involved in other professional works. Managing Regular School with Coaching

Many of the aspirants are not enrolled in dummy-schools. They generally face problems in time management and also they are not able to fully concentrate on JEE prep. So, in this post I would discuss how you can efficiently manage your school with JEE. Here's what I did; CASE 1 : If you in Class 11th. Class 11th is generally on the lighter side. During 11th you can simply take as many leaves as possible from the school, to avoid imbalance in your JEE prep. But taking leaves means you must focus in your studies only and efficiently use this time for your prep. You should not completely ignore the school.
