Beyond JEE !!

Hello Everyone!! Today's post is not quite directly related to JEE preparation. It's basically realated to what you are going to experience after getting into a decent college, may it be IIT or NIT. I would keep myself at the centre of the theme.  First thing you will experience is home sickness, if you not a typical KOTA student. Thereafter, you will meet your roommates, and chances are high that they will annoy you as you don't have the habit of adjusting with others. Soon you will become more and familiar with them and enjoy their company. Most interesting would be building a small family inside your room and many times you will feel so. In my case, parents of my roommates often talk to me, as if I am also their son. A few days will past like this. Soon, there will a power cut in the hostel at night, and your hostel will become a stage to express you inner feeling in the shade of darkness. By this time you will be in full confidence like:  "SALA APUN ICH BHAGWAN HA

LAB RECORD BANANE KA MAN NAHI KARTA YAR !!!

I know this topic is not quite related to JEE, but you will know something new if you read further. All of us pretty know how boring its to make lab records in our 10+2. But have you ever wondered why school forces us to maintain a lab record?.  Added to this we are supposed to avoid overwriting and maintain neatness in the record. I think schools never bother to tell this or they themselves might not be aware why are they giving this task to the students. Recently class started at MNNIT and we were having our physics practical class. So, as usual prof was telling about, we have to maintain the lab record. But surprisingly he also told us why the institute forces us to maintain lab records and gives marks on this. He explained that all this is to inculcate professionalism in us, as within 4 to 5 years we would doing jobs or will be involved in other professional works. So their we shall be required to maintain records properly and these records will carry huge importance because these

Demotivate Ho Gye Kya ? - Stress Management in JEE

Image
Feeling of demotivation is the most common thing for JEE aspirants. But, what to do upon demotivation ? Before answering this let us see why this happens. So, the basic reason for thus anxiety and feeling of demotivation is STRESS .  JEE aspirants suffers stress because of many reasons; let's discuss major of them.   Over expectation : This is mainly because most JEE aspirants were initially toppers of their schools, scoring tons of marks. When they start JEE prep they expect to get good marks here in tests also. But that does not happen most of the time, which gives them a shock and they start to feel self pitty. Under-confidence : Some aspirants when they start JEE they get overwhelmed by the seeing the syllabus and  crowd preparing for the same. They get a feeling that they won't be able to make it. Over-thinking : Some students start their preparation well , but when they sometimes score less in the test, self doubt emerges in them. Then, instead to working on weak points t

REVISION - Part 1

Image
Revision - the most crucial part of JEE preparation. Before going deep into this topic, let me ask you a ques - Are you scoring less marks in Tests even after studying and practicing properly ? Then, I think improper revision might be one of the reasons. What does revision actually means? So basically it means you are revisiting the stuffs you have already learnt . Intensity of revision may vary according to availability of time. It means that, most basic type of revision is simply going through your notes. If you have more time you can do some ques too. I did my drop year prepared from Competishun . My revision method was as follows: So let us suppose my next test is 14 days far. Then, I would try to go through all the notes from beginning till the last day just before the test. Additionally you can also follow this , it can be helpful.:  These were my methods suggested by Mohit Tyagi Sir. Even I called him personally for this. I'm sure this method will work for most aspirants.

PROCESSORS - ALL INFO AND GUIDE

Image
You might be thinking why am I writing this blog? Let me answer this. Recently I was searching for a laptop with good processor, so that I can complete my BTech degree with it. But it was very difficult for me select one, because of the wide variety of processors availability with vast number of specifications. So, in this blog I will cover all these range of processor and point out the type of audience they suit the most. ALERT!! this is going to a lengthy post, so ensure that you have time. Let me give a small introduction or overview about Processors. Processors, also known as central processing units (CPUs), are the "brain" of a computer. They are responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations necessary for running software and managing system resources. Processors are designed to handle multiple instructions simultaneously through pipelining and superscalar architecture. In pipelining, the processor breaks down the instruction execution into multiple

Managing Regular School with Coaching

Many of the aspirants are not enrolled in dummy-schools. They generally face problems in time management and also they are not able to fully concentrate on JEE prep. So, in this post I would discuss how you can efficiently manage your school with JEE. Here's what I did; CASE 1 : If you in Class 11th. Class 11th is generally on the lighter side. During 11th you can simply take as many leaves as possible from the school, to avoid imbalance in your JEE prep. But taking leaves means you must focus in your studies only and efficiently use this time for your prep. You should not completely ignore the school. You must complete the project and file works on time ; give all the exams of school( JUST GIVE IT DON'T BOTHER ABOUT THE MARKS YOU ARE GETTING IN SCHOOL EXAMS"). In short you can appear twice or thrice per week in the school. That will do you class 11th. CASE 2 : If you are in Class 12th. In class 12th you can't simply boycott your school because this year you will have

10th ka confident bachha - Start of JEE Preparation

Image
You might be thinking why I'm mentioning about class 10th..... So, let me start. As you would be aware the most the students who start JEE preparation are toppers of class 10th or atleast they have secure 90 percent marks in boards. This brings a sense of confidence in them that they can do well in JEE also. But, here the picture becomes different. Most of them becomes demotivated and loose interest at the end of the first month itself. You know why ? I'll explain to you. it mainly happens due to following reasons-  There is vast difference in the study approaches followed for 10th board and for 11th or the JEE. for 11th onwards topics become more detailed and they require analysis and understanding of concepts. Question in JEE are application based , you can't go away with learning formula and definitions only. You should also learn to apply them. Students generally do not have the habit of long sitting hrs due to which they are not able to concentrate for long in the stu
